Worthing Conservatives launch our campaign for the local elections being held on Thursday 2nd of May.
This weekend Conservative councillors were joined by local MPs Tim Loughton and Sir Peter Bottomley, Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner Katy Bourne, and local members, to launch our Worthing Borough Council election campaign.
After two years of a Labour administration on the Council Worthing is falling behind. Reserves raided to the tune of £8 million, Teville Gate sold for a £2.3 million loss, and Council Tax rising by the maximum amount. All Labour are promising is a continuation of their track record of failure, with plans to make millions of pounds in cuts to our services over the next five years.
Our town is crying out for change and we joined together in sending a clear and unequivocal message: Worthing Cannot Afford Another Year of Labour
