A Worthing resident for over 20 years, Syed has built his business in the borough and has won local and national attention for his charity work.

Working with the local MPs, Syed has donated over 400 meals to frontline NHS workers during the pandemic, turning the kitchen at his popular Shaan Restaurant on Tarring Road (Heene ward) into a community kitchen, ensuring our local NHS heroes had a hot meal waiting for them at the end of their shifts.
Family man Syed has raised his family in Worthing and is keen to see the borough thrive, his priorities if elected include commitments on the environment, sustainable development, improved tourism and leisure facilities and working hard to keep Council Tax low.
